A ride on the steernwheeler is a classic Gorge experience. Captain Tom is a hoot- the absolute best. Its expensive, but just one of those things you have to do. Be wary of the weather and wind- it can be very cold once you are out on the river.
The new owners have really spiffed the experience up- the staff is friendly and upbeat.
- Pros: classic gorge experience- beautiful, educational, fun
- Cons: expensive, can be very cold.

What a great way to see the Gorge! Brunch on a replica sternwheeler with the incredible views of the Columbia River Gorge! The Captain narrates some of the history and lore of the Columbia River and Gorge while you sightsee. You see more than you would imagine from the water! Incredible! You have no idea how awesome the Gorge is from the highway -- see it from the river!!!
- Pros: Incredible scenery - unique experience!
- Cons: Windy -- bring a jacket!!
