CUTE HOTEL. While the rooms are a bit smaller and noisier than a regular hotel, this place offers a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel at home. I just wish that we had discovered this place sooner because we would have loved to reserve the whole thing for our wedding next summer. Apparently good news travels fast because they were already booked. :)

Historic Hood River hotel is homier than a motel and more private than a B&B.. In Short
At the west edge of the commercial district in downtown Hood River sits the (almost) century-old house that is the Oak Street Hotel. Everything in town is close by. With a cozy-yet-private atmosphere, it's a perfect alternative to the larger hotels. Rooms are spacious and some have fireplaces and views of the Columbia River. The hotel staff can guide guests to Hood River's finer points, from favorite breakfast spots to the breweries in town.
