The quaint town of Hood River is one of Oregon's most popular destinations. Perched on a bluff above the Columbia River, it has become windsurfing central for professionals and slackers alike. The Columbia River Gorge is breathtakingly scenic, and this lodge takes full advantage of the spectacular landscape. Romantics come here for the setting, and families appreciate such offerings as lots of fresh air and a playground.

The Details
The inn is composed of five buildings nestled in trees and wildflowers. Many of the 42 rooms look out into the spectacular gorge. There are also suites available, some with fireplaces, kitchens and/or whirlpools. The water at the lodge is pure and chemical-free, piped in directly from a Mt. Hood spring.
