Best Chinese food we have ever had. We live in Union gap WA and we travel a lot through Hood River to see our kids & grandkids in Lebanon Ore. We always stop to have dinner at China gorge and are dissappointed when we are traveling on a Monday and they are closed. The kids & grandkids, esp say they want to eat there because it is the best. Everthing is cooked with fresh ingredients including some very good mushrooms. We have a special diet and they gladly accomadate us. they are very friendly and the food is outstanding so why go anywhere else. I wish they would open up a restaurant in our town. We would eat there all the time

Love this place!!!!. I lived in Hood River for years and every time I come back, I eat at China Gorge. The food is consistent. There are few Chinese restaurants in this state that can compare. I travel all over Oregon for work and love coming back and eating at China Gorge. They accommodate all eating preference--vegan, vegetarian etc... There is something for everyone. I just love this place & miss it greatly!

SHANGRI-LA!!!. The beautiful town of Hoodriver right on the bank of the scenic view of the most famous Gorge, Columbia River Gorge, on top of a little hill, sit a very tasty, best and cleanest in the area, famous to the locals; the CHINA GORGE Chinese Restaurant to warm your spirit and heart ... with its hot yet delicious food, it probably will remind visitors to Shangri-La we always stop by to this little Shangri-La every time we visited the area and the food is not the only incentive during your visit, the delightful and hospitality of its hostess, Grace and her staff are always an added bonus to enhance our experience from one visit to another A great place if not the best to enjoy real Chinese Food in the area!!! Best Recommended!!!
