Terrible Ribs.. I came in with my family on a busy night, which seems to be unusual, because the servers made a huge deal out of being slammed. We were greeted by a blonde who was very unfriendly and seemed to just want to get us in and out. Then we were helped by a second0 server, a small brunette, who was very condesending and rude and took only a portion of our table's order. Then we were helped by a third server, the bar tender, who took the last of our order and was unfourtunatly never seen again, he was the friendliest of our three servers. I orderd the ribs which were advertised to fall off the bone but instead were overcooked and tough, then slathered in a nasty sauce that tasted like it was burned or had gone bad. We expected much more from this rustic brew pub. The service was terrible and the food was lousy. I will not be going back.
This Hood River spot offers top-notch brews, tasty grub and a stellar view..
Groups of thirsty locals and curious visitors climb the steps to this brewpub and restaurant, which overlooks all of Hood River. Inside, the billiards room is the perfect place to take a rest. The beverage of choice, Big Horse's microbrewed beer, is made in the building's stone cellar. The lunch and dinner fare is an improvement on typical pub food: beyond salads and burgers, the menu offers Thai, Mexican and Carribean-influenced dishes.
