Awesome food and great service!. I love this place! The new(ish) owners are awesome. Most of the time you will find one of them in there. Food is outstanding (meatloaf sandwich, mmm)! My second time in the bartender remembered my name. They have great live bands, awesome drinks (and unique jello shots!), and wonderful food. Thanks TRILLIUM for being dependable for wonderful service!

great blackened chicken. most of the places we stopped at in Hood River only serve beer, I am not a beer drinker so we asked around for a place with good food and reasonable drink prices, we were referred by several people to Trillium. the service was great! the drinks were awesome and the blackened chicken was ACTUALLY blackened (with cajun spices-not charbroiled to a crisp-as most places seem to think blackened chicken is). the blue cheese on the chicken made the sandwich even more delectable. next trip back to Hood River we will definitely be stopping back by

feel.good.food!. after going on a hike my husband and I wanted to go in to Hood River and go walk around a bit, and grab a bite to eat. We headed to Trillium Cafe, I like the historic building and the staff was super friendly when we walked in like they had always known us. My husband and I decided to share a salad and fish and chips which was recommended and ,after the first bite of my fish I wished I had gotten my own,,,IT WAS GOOD!!!! I enjoyed my experience very much and look forward on my next chow down there.

knuckledragger is a moron. First of all, we don't have a county jail, we have a multi-county jail. Second, Trillium is back open with excellent food! And cheese doesn't come on a club, you gotta axe for it!. dumbass.

COME ON! They get better food in jail... trust me I know!. I noticed that all the reviews on this establishment are rather old... perhaps they decided not to go backafter the quality of the food dropped and the price stayed the same (about a year ago). I have heard rumors that irresponsible serving of alcohol (perhaps multiple times) resulted in Trillium getting spanked with OLCC fines and eventually an order to close the business for a long period of time. Guess they had to cut corners to make ends meet after the fines! I had a $10 club sandwich today (decided to give them another chance because I heard they were under new ownership/management). NOTHING HAS IMPROVED!!! the bacon and meat between the "Wonder" sourdough was just not up to snuff (and that is ALL there was on the so called club). The mystery meat at the county jail is better. AND NO CHEESE ON A TEN DOLLAR SANDWICH! The service is a little better and my complaints have nothing to do with WAY my sandwich was put together... just the quality of the ingredients was a complete joke in my book. We tried to explain this to the waitress, but she just responded with some defensive comments. I never complain about restaurant food.... but today I had had it! I signed up on Citysearch just to vent about it! I am a HR local and I am so tired of our, once awesome dinning establishments, simply phoning it in while they pray for the wind to kick up. Hey Dorks, don't you see that the locals come in for a beer, but decide to go home and cook cause the only that is blowing around here is your food? I hope you can sucker enough tourists in too keep yourself afloat because most locals are on to you. Actually... no I don't! I hope you go down in flames and give someone a chance who cares about the quality of the product there business produces. Sorry, but it is the truth. Trillium, step it up please.

Avoid the owner Michelle Hannel I believe! She is very loud and rude to her employees.. I visited Hood River with some friends. The first thing I heard when we arrived was this deep loud voice. She yells at her employees and bad mouths her husband. It was so horrible we will never go back! I feel sorry for all her employees! Avoid....

Great all around place...coffee was spectacular!. Just had lunch here with my girlfriend, and have nothing but good things to say about the place!

All the employees were friendly, the food we got was great, and the menu had great things to try. Had a hard time making up my mind as a matter of fact.

Not sure what brand coffee they use, but it is certainly one of the tastiest I've ever had, and I'm not much for coffee.

The Trillium is certainly worth a visit, and is within walking distance of a bunch of other places. So even if you just need to stop and grab a bite to eat off of I84, it's worth it.

courteous bartender, extremely fast service and the food is so good!!!!. My wife and I came to Trillium and we were greeted and seated right when we walked through the door.

our bartender roxie served us beverages right away ,and took our order which only took like 10 minutes to get our food! That was awesome because we were starving.

we had the rajin cajin pasta and the chicken avacodo melt yum that is so good!

We really adored roxie shes a very happy and kind person. that was a great experience for us the service, food,and beverages thanks we will be back!!!!!

best service and food yummmmmmmmmmmmm..... Friday night band was great, service was fast and friendly for how busy they were. will recommend to all my friends and family. the waitress was very friendly and we love her laugh. we will be back. oh by the way we loved her blouse. we love the food.... Waitress acts like a stripper... she hits on the men and totally ignores female customers.. I go to the TRILIUM Cafe a couple times each year, but my last visit will be my last. Even though the food is tasty, the waitress was HORRIBLE. Her name is Roxanne and her outfit looked like she should be working at a strip club, not a restaurant. My table (all females) was absolutely ignored all night while Roxanne flirted with the guys at the bar. It was disgusting and comical at the same time. I have never had such bad service and I won't go back.
