worst customer service ever!!!!. We had to cancel last minute and when I called I got a machine. I left a message. They called me back and left a message for me to call them back...when I did I got the machine again... between the 2 calls I get a charge on my checking account from them...when they finally got back to me, they say it is because I didnt call them back within 48 hours, the message did not say that I needed to call with in a specific time line, no one said any thing to me about being charged, and when I asked her she argued with me!!! I would not have minded the charge if SOMEONE HAD TOLD ME!!! Worst customer service!!!!! I am so disappointed and frustrated! I DO NOT recommend them!!!!! This could have been avoided if they had just told me....simple little request....
Trapped. This is a 4 hour train ride, wich goes two hours one way, and then 2 hours back. It started out OK. The food and service were average, and the staff was friendly. The scenery wasn't what was expected. There's about 30 minutes of river view, but it's mostly views of trailer parks and people's back yards. About a half an hour into the return trip the engine broke down and we had to wait for another engine to come and get us. This was the dinner train, and it was supposed to last from 5:30 to 9:30, but we didn't get back until close to midnight. The "murder mystery" actors tried to draw out the show to keep us entertained, but it just made it worse. I noticed at about 10:30 that one of the actors looked completely wasted, and a person at my table said she saw him driniking in the bar car. We ended up getting a deck of cards to entertain ourselves, becuase by 10:00 nobody cared who the murderer was anymore. The air conditioning is minimal, so by the time it was finally over, I was sweaty and so bored. I understand that things break, and it would have been ok if they would have made it right, but when it was all said and done they didn't offer to comp a penny. We paid full price for everything. This was the worst $200.00 I have ever spent, and i don't recommend it to anyone.
